He has managed several global remits over a career spanning several decades. His areas of expertise are, Digital Transformation, Treasury, Risk, Wealth & Fund Management and Insurance. He has served as MD, CFO, Global Head and COO in several esteemed organizations.
He is a highly innovative individual with a work ethic that is inspirational. He has the ability to deliver breakthrough results, under daunting circumstances. Sumir is a great leader and a follower and his thirst for knowledge and enlightening experiences makes him a Seeker.
Sumir began his career with a family-owned metal fabrication business and trading and exports while still pursuing his education. He gave up the family business to enter the corporate world to gain international exposure. After the corporate years, he has been deeply immersed in startups, having kicked off and worked for several start-ups in hands-on roles and as mentor.
Managing stakeholders across CXO levels and operational teams is part of Sumir’s working day. Working currently as the COO, he and the team strive to make traditional banking processes easier, better and faster.
