Here is a fantastic place to ride. Very close to Mysore. Barely 120 ok km, or a 90 min ride. You just head down HD Kote Road towards Kabini and at HD Kote, take a left. The climb is short but sweet. The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking. On the way back I took a mother route all along the waters of the Nuru Dam.

I shouldn’t ride at night, but there is something about riding through the lonely, desolate, dark, hill and back roads that give me this sense of achievement. You need to be super alert and supremely focused. You can’t afford to put a wheel wrong. If anything goes wrong, it is unlikely that help will be handy. And yet…..
